Combating Human trafficking is an acute task.
On March, 17 a seminar on the results of counter TIP activities took place. The Law on Combating Human Trafficking was accepted in 2008. According to the Law and other legislative documents a range of activities connected with combating human trafficking are being realised by the members of InterMinisterial commission and others. Within the activities the legal culture of the population especially the Youth is being raised, various types of assistance are provided to human trafficking victims as well.
Among the participants of the seminar were the representatives of Women Committees, Department of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Health, "Makhally Fund" and others.
During the seminar the following questions were discussed: the term of "human trafficking", combating human trafficking and providing TIP victims legal, social , reintegration assistance and assistance in jobplacement as well.
As it was mentioned at the seminar, Human Trafficking remains an acute problem and we can combat it by being precautious, legally educated and united.
